Trying to locate the parentage of my ancestor, Thomas Cuthbertson, who was born before 1775 in Scotland. He married in Aopril 1793 near Drumclog, Lanarkshire, Jean/Janet/Jane Brownlee at Torfoot. This family migrated to the United States ca 1800-1805. Thomas appears to have been affiliated with the Covenanter minister, Rev John Cuthbertson, b. 1718 in Ayr as Thomas met up with the Rev's family in the USA after his migration and the Rev's unmarried children left the bulk of their estates to Thomas and his family. Does anyone know of the lineage of the Rev. Cuthbertson or of this Thomas Cuthbertson? Please contact me at aria99@gateway.net.
